Have you noticed that as we grow, we pick up on discrimination against a certain religion or culture because people around us have those biases? It takes much rewiring to first, recognise that we are biased and second, to unlearn those biases. In this episode, I talk to Soraya Deen who is different from me but also similar to me. Listen to our conversation on seeing differences, yet coming together on account of our similarities. Our identity is shaped by things that we agree and disagree upon but it’s vital to acknowledge our biases to survive in a divided world by practicing unity, harmony and freedom.
